Pinnal Kolattam
Pinnal Kolattam is a traditional dance form from Tamil Nadu, India. It's typically performed by women, where they form circles and rhythmic patterns using long, colorful sticks. The sticks are clapped together in time with the music, creating an intricate, graceful dance performance.
Pongal Kolam Competition - Pongal 2026
Each team can have maximum of 2 members. 4ft x 4ft space will be provided for each team for Kolam. Only Dotted Kolam (Rangoli) will be allowed (Sample: Sikku Kolam / Dotted Kolam). All other materials for competition should be brought by contestants. Time Limit - 1hour. Judges Decision will be final.
Apadi Podu - Dance performances
Apadi Podu - Dance performances is to be held on the Evening of 10th January 2026. Guidelines: 1.This event is open to Solo, Group, and Friends & Family dance performances. 2. Only TAMIL songs allowed. 3. Duration of Dance: 3 to 4 minutes MAX. 4. No Repetition of song allowed. It will be on First come, first served basis. 5. Songs should be sent to the organisers for confirmation on WhatsApp once registered. 6. No Age criteria. Anybody Can Dance! Pongal Making Competition
Pongal making Competition to be held on the Morning of 11th January 2026 - 8.00 Am. Guidelines: 1. Only 3 Participants allowed per group . 2. Need to cook Traditional Sweet Pongal (Tamilnadu Style ) in a Clay Pot(Can hold 500gm quantity) with Firewood setup. 3. Pot and Fire Wood Setup will be provided. 4. Ingredients for making Pongal should be carried by the Participants. 5. Time Limit - 1hour 6. Need to decorate the Place with Traditional Rangoli. 7. Judges Decision will be final. 8. Pot Painting
Kids Pot Painting (Ages 6–10) 🎨🪴 Let your child explore colors and creativity with our fun pot painting activity! Kids will paint small clay pots using bright colors, patterns, and their imagination. This activity helps improve creativity, hand–eye coordination, and focus in a playful way. Each child takes home their beautifully painted pot as a souvenir of their creativity.
Traditional Dance Competition
Register to participate in the Traditional Tamil Nadu Dance Competition at our Cultural Night on 10th January 2026. Dance forms include Oyilattam Mayilattam Karagattam Thappattam Bharatanatyam Gummi Aattam.
